Are light cigarettes safer?

Question:
Do they contain less nicotine and other toxic chemicals?

Answers:
Nope, it's a marketing scam.
NO. you actually end up smoking more and getting more of the nasty nicotine and chemicals in your body. quitting is the best idea.
If you were meant to inhale smoke, you'd have come with a built in smoke machine installed at the factory! Safe cigarette? Isn't that an oxymoron?
all cigarettes are dangerous
A cigarette is a cigarette - if you are going to quit then do so - its the only way to break then chain. Changing up or down the brands doesn't make the grade.
Light cigs are lighter in so much that they have more holes punched in the filter tips - the more air you breathe in is a lighter dosage of the toxins because of it. The amount of tar is still the same.
WTF this has to be a joke guys. If this isnt then dont start once u start its so hard to quit. I quit smoking for the 109th time yesterday and guess what today I smoked two cigarettes.
OMG that is so not cool, you are kidding right? When girls kiss you your breath will smell like ciggs. It's the biggest turn off in the world!! I hate guys that smoke!! I don't know what girls like guys that smoke, maybe lame girls! Ciggarettes are addicting. I don't smoke them but i see other people addicted to them, buying packs at a time. Even if they are light, the still contain nicotine which is addicting. Just stay away!!
