Is within something on the souk to rid us of the desire to smoke?

Besides prayer and prescriptions, is there a successful agency to rid human beings of the desire to inhale smoke, whether it is cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, or the family barbeque. I can not fathom why we would readily choose this form of self destruction.

Answers:    Good point. The same as drink, it is a toxin, a poison to the body. People commonly only ponder hedonistically when consumingknown toxins and do not think in the region of the long term effects. We are commonly looking for a "buzz" over long term strength. - maybe we are bored or anxious and semi-conscioulsy looking for the "fix".

There are oodles alternative ways of preventing smoking/addictions.

Have a look at www.emo-free.com. Download the free manaul and have a dance. It has help me for pain nouns and anxiety.

Try and carry a snack around near you i.e breadsticks so that yu can eat that and hold it in your hand when you ahve the crave to smoke.

There are OTC smoking patches etc. Herbs such as Valerian,Kava Kava and passionflower can aid with anxiety.

I wouldnt recommend caffeine but that can pull peoples mood a little contained by a similar way to ciggarettes. No more than 2 cups a morning thou, and not after 6pm - the stimulation from caffeine can cause insomnia.
