id say on a scale 2. it doesnt hurt much its just your nerves telling you it will hurt. if you want it get it soon you do you'll be so happy it doesnt hurt much i got mine done twice and i repeirced it about 1903858605 times. its not bad. it just feels like a little sting and then your done. i thin kany age is acceptable if your willing to take care of it. if your i nsports and are not allowed to have a belly pericing i ould suggest not getting one. thats the reason why i had to repeirce it so much. also keep it i nfor awhile before changing and dont change it too much because of infection and your hole will take longer to heal. for mine to heal it took over a year for the whole to after NOT close up.

I think the law tells you that 18 is the acceptable age to get one.
Any age over 14 maybe? And it hurt like a 9!! And mine never healed and always looked like it had snot gooping out of it .. I took it out after 8 months of trying to get it healed and have a really ugly scar now .
Everyone told me it hurt soooo bad, but really it didn't even hurt! I'd rate it like a 2.5. Good luck and make sure you use salt to help it heal and DON'T MESS WITH IT!!

My friend got her top one done and she said it was about a 7-8. I got my bottom done with her and mine was a 12 because the bottom hurts way more(that's what the piercer said). we got it done as our gr. 8 grad present over a year ago. I was 14 she was 13. It feels better when you breathe out when they stick the needle through. Just a little tip :)
