Question:
It started last week when i noticed my lymph nodes getting really swollen. Now a week later they are bigger than ever and some of the nodes i never even knew i had becuase they have never been this swollen. It hurts to press on them... They are all down my neck and throat and into my collar bone. I have occasional headaches and when i exercise i really get a headache. Im tired, but i cant tell if it just fatigue. I have drainage that is usually yellowish green, but i do not have a runny nose. My left eye is kind of red...more than my right eye. I have a sore throat when i wake up in the morning but it goes away. Though when i work out and my throat gets dry it starts to hurt and i get little white spots on it. They go away too so i dont think its strep. I have no fever.my neck is alittle sore.
I dont want to make a dr. appt if all they will do is tell me to take tylonol flu and rest. What should i do.

You have some kind of infection. Colored drainage usually means the same thing. See your physician. I had the same problem a couple of months ago and they checked to see if I had mono & cancer. I was fine & mine went away on their own. Mabey yours will too.
take tylonol flu and rest.
If you have swollen lymph nodes, it means that your body is fighting off infection. You've mentioned that they're numerous. Please seek medical help. This may be really serious. You may want to go to a specialist so he/she won't tell you to just take tylonol flu and rest.
