I can feel my heart...?

Question:

I feel it giving on large beats, I actually feel it, not all the time just every now and again. It feels unusual, I've had it before but nothing else happens. I can just feel it pumping, then it dies down. It happens when I'm running and when I'm not!

Is this normal? I'm not that worried, because so far nothing has happened.

do you feel hot all the time or excited? Do you stay thirsty and hungry? could be your thyroid. i was diagnosed with graves disease (overactive thyroid) which causes your heart to race. my heart stayed up at around 130bpm and once my thyroid was fixed i went underactive and my heart rate dropped all the way down to 51bpm. but now it is normal. mine would race when i would just be sitting there doing nothing. maybe you should check with your doctor its just a simple blood test. wouldnt hurt just to get checked you never know. check out this site:
