What I want to know is could there be nicotine in anything else I’m consuming?

Question:
I smoked ten years ago although I was a chain smoker back then I hate the smell of smoke and even feel sick when people around me smell like smoke.
But For some reason I am having these symptoms along with strong cravings out of the blue.
I use no other tobacco products

What I want to know is could there be nicotine in anything else I’m consuming

Answers:
Nicotine is found in low quantities in tomato, potato, eggplant (aubergine), and green pepper. It is also found in the leaves of the coco plant. To get any effect from the foods mentioned you would have to be eating quantities which would be physically impossible to get any effect near to that of just 1 cigarette.
Perhaps its just one of those little hiccups we ex smokers get from time to time. I have been a non-smoker for 8 years and I also hate the smell.BUT once in a while I do get a craving. I fight it off as I have no intention of going back to the habit. Its too costly in more ways than just money.
