i have been doing this excercise that works really well to get better at controlling ur dreams. U see the outside of a house (it can look however u want) u walk into the house (once again it looks however u want, it has however many rooms) the point is u are looking at every detail of ur house. U move room to room, go to the second floor...u should be asleep by the time u get to the attic.

go to sleep before the rest of your household does... there will be activity in the house which will keep you half awake. just relax and focus on your breathing. Hope i helped!

what is lucid dreaming?
I studied lucid dreaming a little bit. Here is a good tip.
To successfully learn to control a dream, you need a point in the dream, where you realize it is a dream. Sort of an anchor point. Something that makes you realize, "I am in a dream."
Once you do that, you can control it from there.
To do that, you need to really concentrate, on everyday objects. Start a journal. Write down things you looked at today. For instance, concentrate on a picture on the desk, and think to yourself. I want to see this picture, in my dream. Write it down. Do that for multiple things, or people, or events.
After a while, you will start to see them in your dreams. If done correctly, the thought of seeing it, will connect it to the real world. Thus giving you an anchor point to work from.
Did that make any sense? Hopefully it works for you. Did for me.
Hot dang! Thank you for asking that question. I didn't know what lucid dreaming was and had to look it up. I've been doing it for years and didn't know it had a name.
