Question:
So, say someone's got too-low blood pressure - 80/40 resting and they're feeling it (dizzy, fuzzy, all that). If they get up and move around, they can get it up to maybe 110/70. Ordinarily this would be a great reading - but is it still too low? I mean, is a great "exercise reading" actually something like 140/90?
So basically, should getting up and moving around - and raising bp into the normal range - make them feel better? Or is bp all relative to your body's needs?
Sorry, that's confusing - but thanks for any help here! :)
Answers:
If you have that low of blood pressure you're usually not told to get up and move around because you will most likely faint.
Your bp shouldn't change all that much if at all between resting and activity. Heart rate and respiration can vary greatly, but bp shouldn't.
