O+ Blood Type?
Question:
Answers:
blood group O dont have A or B antigens on the surface of their red blood cells (RBCs) but the blood serum contains IgM anti-A antibodies and anti-B antibodies against the A and B blood group antigens so a person with group O blood can only recieve blood from another O type person but can donate blood to anyone from any ABO blood group (A,B,O or AB)
the positive part refers to the Rhesus factor in the blood. people either have the Rhesus factor on the surface of their RBCs or dont. RhD positive has the RhD antigen and RhD negative doesnt have the RhD antigen

All people belong to one of four inherited blood groups: A, B, AB, and O. The letters A and B refer to the kind of antigen found on an individuals red blood cells. An antigen is a protein on the cell which triggers an immune response, such as the formation of antibodies, against the antigens which the red cell lacks. For example, a group A individual, when exposed to B antigens, will produce anti-B antibodies.
You inherit your blood group from your biological parents.
The web sites will give you the information you need: Please do not plagiarise it, because it will be obvious when its read. You are quite at liberty to paraphrase, but not to copy.
I see so much copied work when I'm marking my students projects, all from the Internet. If you do use it verbatim reference it. Its not a problem when you do this.
Well according to the NBS website 37% of the population have O+. I donate blood and i have B+ blood type, only 8% of the popultation have this blood type. O+ is the most common blood type, closely followed by A+.
