What are some symptoms of an ear infection and please list if they are very common or rarly happen?

my ear all of a sudden started hurting like really bad and has been going on now for 3 days what are some symptoms?

Answers:
earache, problems with hearing, may have a fever, thick yellow fluid coming out, usually means eardrum ruptured. Check with your Dr. He will probably prescribe antibiotics and ear drops.
