rub it or get up and walk on it.
i try hopping on one foot. but if that doesn't work... then i just squeeze it and slap it.
get up and walk around and shake your foot several times that will help bring the blood circulation thru your foot.
might be hard to do, but try walking. i know that is hard while your foot is sleeping, but the reason it gets that tingling feeling is because of poor circulation. so move positions, and get your blood flowing to your foot and you should be all set!
i usually get up and walk on it..
I usually elevate my leg and in no time My foot goes back to normal.
