Ideally, one would brush their teeth after every meal, right?

Question:
...is there a certain length of time to wait before brushing?

Answers:
I think brushing your teeth after every meal erodes the enamel covering on your teeth. You don't have to brush them after every meal. but it is reccommended that you brush your teeth twice a day.
Ideally, if you can't chew some gum/
No you can brush as soon as you finish eating
there is actually such thing as over brushing your teeth! which in that case you're actually doing more harm than good so i recommend 1-2 times daily.

if you do want to refresh your mouth before going to the gym or something along those lines perhaps try a mouth wash!
