How much water do u drink in a day?

realy, the truth. my pal in highschool, like NEVER drank water, but then again she ate tonnes of soup so i think she was getting her water from this.. we are supposed to drink 8 glasses? i usually do about 5 unless im thinking about it, its all pepsis fault!!

It depends on the pants I am wearing. Why you ask? Because if I am dressed up and don't feel like going pee every 10 minutes and tucking and untucking my shirts, etc. Then I don't drink much. If I am chilling in shorts and a T-shirt...probably about a gallon a day.
You're supposed to drink about a gallon a day to stay healthy.

I drink maybe 2 bottles days i play basketball. and 1 cup on normal days

I love Pepsi but i drink at least a gallon of water a day. Soda makes you gain weight and a fat belly. I live in Japan and it's pretty hot here.
8 glasses of water means 64 oz of water (8 x 8oz). That's the bare minimum. I personally try to drink about 100oz when I exercise a lot. I drink both bottled and filtered water, and lots of tea with splenda (which in my mind counts).

i drink about 64 ounces a day. but, I don't drink soda, coffee, tee or much of anything else except milk. Cut back on the soda. it is really bad to drink.
no no no! only drink when u r thirsty! it was proven to be more helthy is u drink when ur thirsty then force ur self to drink 8 glasses, i dont even count i drink whenever i want.
I make sure I drink 7-8 glasses a day. However, Weight Watchers recommends at least 6.

I drink about 10 a day. I drink nothing but water, milk, and juice.. Soda or some of you call it "Pop" occasionally mostly when I drink liqour.

The safe amount of water to drink daily is as follows: take your current weight & divide that by two & that's the amount of water in ounces you can drink safely each day.
Recent studies have shown that we really don't need to drink that much because if we eat a healthy diet we can get approx. 3 cups of water from our food. Especially if you eat vegetables and fruit. I think 6-8 cups is the "recommended" daily water intake, but it also depends on a couple other factors too. It is a good idea to aim for 6 cups a day (equivalent of 3 bottles of water). If you excercise a lot, drink lots of caffeine or tends to eat lots salty foods it is a good idea to drink more thoough.
