Warm sensations in throat?

Question:
In the past few days, I have been experiencing this weird warm sensation, usually when I am breathing out. It starts in the right side of my chest and works its way up to my throat and sometimes my right ear. I have also been experiencing a sore throat, but that is normal for me. Has anyone experienced this or might now what it could be. And I know I should go to the doctor and have it checked out and if it continues I will. For now I am just curious if it is common or not. Thanks
