Why do my hands feel like they are being poked with needles after swimming?

It sounds like it could be a circulation problem or possibly something like a pinched nerve. My only suggestion would be I think it is worth checking with a doctor. If you are not experiencing any other symptoms, it is probably nothing serious, but definitly worth seeing a doctor. If you are swimming for a team that has a trainer, you might check with them first. They may have some better ideas than I do.
You know how your fingers and toes get wrinkly? Maybe that has something to do with it! Think about it! Hehe!
I think is is due to the air temp being quite cold and you've been in warm water and when you get out of the water it is your body adjusting to the different temperature. Don't worry there is nothing wrong with you
OMG. Well i get the same exact problem and i am only 12. I think some people just get it when being in the water a lot.
Check for needles poking you. If none see a doctor.
