What health problems would one have if he had a past of experimenting with prescription drugs and alchohol?
Question:
Answers:
In a long run antidepressant combined to alcohol could bring severe damage to your body. Some of this are schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, hypertensive crisis, decreased libido and many more. Antidepressants has many adverse effects that are controllable if and only if in proper use of drugs is abided. Alcohol can give you cirrhosis of the liver in which your liver atrophies.
So if you love your life, please stop experimenting drugs and alcohol.
Why ask, just find out by doing them all at the same time, you will see..
One might have liver function issues later in life.
I know that drugs and alcohol affect the liver.
How long have you been "experimenting with anti-depresents and beer"? Long term could have some mental health effects, and depending on the possible side-effects from the medication alcohol could cause those problems to be more likely or more seaver.
hmm.
anti-depressants can cause weight gain, impotence(E.D.), and mood swings, Did you know alchohol kills brain cells?
Mind and liver problems .Of course addiction.
Nothing conclusive for SSRIs.
Beer= cirrhosis of the liver, which means there are fat deposits on liver.
If all they are are expriments and nothing daily you are fine
Liver problems, memory problems, sleep problems, and emotional problems.
Alcohol and anti depressants could cause health problems in the future. Alcohol can cause liver problems, and the inability to deal with personal problems in life as they develop. If your drinking is excessive, I suggest you contact AA. It has helped many. for encouragement, listen to ttb.org.
just as likely to have none as any. you state this question like it is guaranteed that he will have related problems but that it untrue. Besides what does experminting mean a couple of times years decades?
well beer is a depressant and obviously it acts counter to the antidepressant.. as with any drug and alcohol it is dangerous to mix them..so don't.. if you suffer from depression it is usually caused by a chemical inbalance..it is corrected with some sort of mild drug that helps you stay relaxed.. beer is mild and so are most antidepressants.. you should be okay.. but don't push the envelope.. now if you just have to have a beer (which is something that I do, at times) well then go have a beer..just don't go overboard and give youself some room.. read the drug label or look it up on line.. use your head..you have a long way to go..don't shorten it..
It would depend on how much antidepressants and how much beer. Was this abused? If the antidepressant was prescribed and taken as recommended...and the person only had a few beers here and there...probably no "health damage" was done. Keep in mind, however, alcohol IS an antidepressant and does the opposite of what one hopes to accomplish by taking antidepressants. They are prescribed to fight depression. Alcohol contributes to depression. If either is taken in excess.as in "abused"...the first to be affected would be the liver. It's also debated that viable brain cells could be permanently destroyed by alcohol abuse. A person who is NOT prescribed antidepressants and takes them are messing with their brain hormones and can cause lots of psyche problems while under the influence of a drug that they were not prescribed and invariably COULD cause one to end up being a depressed patient. Moral of the story: Take only what is prescribed and as prescribed. Limit alcohol to 1 or 2 beverages on a saturday or a friday night.
Drug/alcohol addict people are normally very stress or under depression people.
The best solution find a true love & have your own happy family & children.

God create us, he can help us if we ask :)
experimenting as in a one time thing and being and addict are two different things all together. but anytime you mix drugs and alcohol you risk the chance of instant death. if you continue to use one or both of these it will affect your memory your kidney liver and brain. it will also affect your everyday life. because it will cause you to be depressed. and miserable.
people think these things are ok because sometimes you dont see an instant harmful effect but it is a slow thing and it will catch you . trust me i know i live with a man who is an alcoholic and a druggie. and i have seen him just now start to go down hill very fast he has went from a man who loved to work to a man who cant keep a job. from a man i could depend on to fix anything and even build me a house to a man who i cant get to mow the yard or fix a leaking sink. he acts worse then a child sometimes. and we can have a long conversation about something and he wont even remember it. he has been doing this experiment as you call it for over 25yrs but it has now caught him. good luck...
both of these substances have a mind altering effect, both immediately and future wise.those compounds in the medication can linger in ones mind years later causing odd or strange behavior.
You wouldnt really know until you got the toxins out of your body. And started a overall better health regimen.
Diet (whole foods) and exercise(cardio and weight training).
First of all the diet will cleanse and detox and get your Brain and Body chemicals rolling in the right direction again.
Exercise will not only make you stronger but your dexterity in your brain signals your muscles and tendons to relearn how valuable each major muscle group is and then stretching will further tie in all those muscle (elastic bands)that bring in all the nutrients and oxygen.and take out all the lactic acids and toxins your body don't need.
Remember any health problems didn't happen over nite.
Good Luck!
