Hi Tracy - yes me and last night!!! There is a trick to it and I have been using it for years. Last night I rushed it.
What you need to do is very carefully wash the whole underarm area including the top of your arm and around the breast area. Make sure you dry it completely... this is the most important thing, even if its damp it'll sting. I use a hairdryer or wait for ages with the towel and then put on a thin layer, not too much. Then get the hairdryer out again and dry it before you go to bed.
When I do it this way, it doesn't sting and I don't sweat for days. But last night I didn't dry it properly. Don't give up cos its fantastic when it works.
A lot of people are sensitive to this. See your doctor for alternatives like botox. Make sure you have used it only on your armpits not the surrounding areas and it sounds silly but keep your arms in the air until it dries so it doesn't get on other areas of your body that may be more sensitive.
I have also had the red burning itchy sensation on first use but once you overcome this it is absolutely fantastic, you can go for days without using anything. i will try jojotravellers tip also great info. Good luck and happy dry days x
