OCD and compulsive thoughts?

I'm really concerned, because I have these horrible compulsive thoughts all the time. They aren't always about the same thing but most of the time they are about death : \...when I have these thoughts that won't go away I get really impatient, very anxious, and annoyed...and I'm quite sure that I have obsessive compulsive disorder, because all the things that describe a person with ocd describe me...I have these thoughts but I also do have the obsessive compulsive actions as well they do bother me but not as much as the thoughts. I know I need to go have it checked out but until I do I was just wanting to know from others with ocd if it is nomal to have these horrible compulsive thoughts like I have...is there anything I can do to help them go away or lessen? any help is greatly appreciated : )

Dont feel bad your not the only one. I have ocd and im only 11 years old! A simple method that helped me that you may think is hard is just trying to do something without any anxiety, and if you do have anxiety just push through it thinking "nothings gunna happen, nothings gonna happen, nothings gonna happen" then just keep make the "pushing though anxiety moments" a little more every day it may be scary but just try it and if this doesnt work go to a psychiatrist.
sometimes i have tthese thought but its mostly when i am alone. Maybe it can be cuz your feeling lonely or scared try to hang out more with your friends.
oh i know the feeling, im super OC too & thinking of things that are really nonsense is killing me!!

but not all people like us need not resort to visiting a psychiatrist or whatever, sometimes we just need to focus & divert thoughts into something happy, only then we can forget about what bothers us.

remember, its only our thoughts, it cant hurt us so learn to control, letting it out to somebody like a friend can also alleviate the burden, coz sometimes we're just so stressed that our brain tends to create unpleasant thoughts.

yourself with an illness you more than likely DON'T have.
