-eatting beans make ya fart?! lol.
-puting toothpaste on your burn calms it?!..
-trimming your hair makes it grow back faster?!.
- drinking lots of milk makes you taller faster?!..

Answers:
1. Watching tv does make prescription go up, if you watch to much. For example, my prescription went up 2.25, and 2 points up because of this. Watching tv to much damages your cornea's, which does make your vision bad. It causes eye damage, which leads to a higher prescription.
2. Yes, because it has fiber.
3. Yes, toothpaste does calm down your burns. Remember when i burned my arm?
4. Trimming your hair regularly does make your hair grow back faster. Trimming makes the dead dna go away, so more hair will grow.
5. Milk =/= taller faster. Milk helps your bones get stronger, but doesn't make you grow faster. For example, I don't drink milk, but im 5"6', where as my brother who does drink milk a lot, happens to be my shortest brother.

All are just that MYTHS....(all un true):~)
yup, doing only close work can ruin your eyes

if you get out and do eye exercises, plenty of sunshine, scaning horizons, it can fix them

most people fart when they eat lots of beans, even Pinky

no clue on the toothpaste thing

pretty sure hair grows the same pace whatever you do

milk could make kids grow taller I think
i think theyre all true except the first one cos recent tests show video game playing improves eye sight.
#1 no..it will not make your eyes bad, i have been watching lots of tv and I am always on the computer AND i play video games and i dont wear glasses or contacts.

#2- YES..beans are a very gassy food because they have a lot of fiber, anything loaded with fiber will make you fart

#3- It can, but it is the same thing as putting something like bacitracin or aloe vera on it, and I am sure those are better for you

#4- yes..if you trim your hair a lot it will grow back faster, when you dont cut your hair you get a lot of split ends and your hair becomes weaker

#5- Sort of...drinking milk creates strong bones...strong bones will grow faster than weak ones will.
yes they do effect your eyesite, but nothing long term, it might just give you a headache.

Yes, the beans make you gassy, its just the way of nature.

the toothpaste will temporarily calm the burn, but room temperature water or a burn ointment are much better for you skin, because the toothpaste will dry the surrounding area.

Trimming your hair does not make it grow faster, thats an illusion. it still grows at the same rate, it just seems faster because the ends are healthy and growing straight, instead of splitting in all directions...

Drinking the milk will not make you taller, but it will give you nice strong bones if you eat right and excersize.
there is no proof that watching tv or computers makes you eyes bad
Beans do make you fart
some toothpaste is made with baking soda, that is good for burns
trimming your hair makes it stronger so it appears to grow longer as is dosnt'break
Milk, as part of a healthy diet does have elements that will help your grow strong, but you will grow to your pretetermined genetic height as fast as your genes will allow.

no is the answer only for the last question
Watching TV and starring at a computer will not make your eyes weaken - myth, much like reading in the dark, you may get a headache but your eyes will not weaken because of this.

Flatulence-producing foods are typically high in certain polysaccharides (especially oligosaccharides such as inulin) and include beans, lentils, dairy products, onions, garlic, scallions, leeks, radishes, sweet potatoes, cashews. In beans, endogenous gases seem to arise from complex oligosaccharide (carbohydrates) that are particularly resistant to digestion by mammals, but which are readily digestible by microorganisms that inhabit the digestive tract. These oligosaccharides pass through the upper intestine largely unchanged, and when they reach the lower intestine, bacteria feed on them, producing copious amounts of flatus. - TRUE

I do not know about toothpaste - even though it may sound weird, for a burn from a fire mustard (plain only) will help to take the pain away.

Trimming your hair is healthy and while the actual trim may not be the source of growing faster, it does not hurt. The healthier your hair is as a whole will help it grow. This includes, trimming, brushing, conditioning. - TRUE

Milk will make your bones stronger because of the calcium, but you can have too much calcium too. Milk is very good for you, but will not make you get any taller, but your bones will be stronger.
Watching TV: That's nonsense. It's been shown that it can actually improve your eye sight if done in a dark room.

Beans: If they are not properly cooked they will give you gas as they are harder to break down.

Toothpaste: This may be true depending on what the toothpaste is made of.

Hair: It will grow back thicker, not faster. Plucking or waxing is the best for hair removal, as some follicles will not produce hair again if you keep it regular.

Milk: This is only true if you are growing. But yes, calcium is great for bone development. Broccoli has the same effect btw.
-no it has been proved that tv and computers do nothing.
-i'm sure that has more to do with a person to person basis
-menthol probably helps
-NO trimming takes off split ends, does NOT make your hair grow any faster it may appear that way since the split ends aren't falling off anymore but vitamins help your hair grow.
p.s. does not grow back thicker either
-doubtful, helps your bones to be strong and screws up your hormones if you get the cheap milk from farmers that load their cows with hormones to make them have lots of calfs so they will keep producing milk
-No! >watching too much TV & staring at your computer for too long CAN put a "strain" on your eyes though!

-About the beans >Yes! They do.

-Toothpaste? >Well I suppose if it's 'cool', it may help(?) to take the 'heat' away...I wouldn't do it.

-No! >Trimming your hair DOES NOT make it 'grow faster'! It DOES however, remove the split/dead ends, which in effect keeps the hair you already have, 'healthier', which prevents it from breaking off, thus allowing it to grow 'longer'! Which in turn only makes people THINK their hair is growing faster!

-Nope! >It's true, drinking milk can be a healthy thing to do, and being healthy can prevent your growth from being "stunted" but, it IS NOT going to 'kick' your growth hormones 'into high gear'!

-O.K? >Hope this helps!
