You can't really get addicted to something if it's not addictive now can you? But I think I know what you mean. I would definitely say marijuana (if we're talking illegal narcotics). I do believe that it is the largest gateway drug. Normally people who smoke pot think that "hey this isn't so bad, so I'm sure I can handle other drugs since I'm not really addicted to this" and that's not the case. I have never ever understood the allure of hard drugs (pot's not a hard drug). If you're looking for the safest drug to do the answer is NONE. Seriously. No need to start a habit that could get you in trouble. They're all expensive and illegal, so what's the point. Have a drink.
