is a growth spurt just grow 5 inches and you are done. or is a growth spurt growth during puberty? how long does a growth spurt continue. im 15, 6ft tall, and since last august ive grown 3 inches. is that a growth spurt. my dads 6ft5 and grew into his mid twenties so do you grow after a growth spurt? he was 6ft2 when he graduated high school. if im 6ft, am i done growing then?

a growth spurt is a general term people use to describe a period of accelerated growth.
Most kids will stay the same height/size or grow slowly... then out of the blue they will get very hungry and within a week or so, their clothes don't quite fit anymore.
It can also happen during puberty, but is likely at any time while a child is growing.
I think 3 inches in a year would not be considered a growth spurt... that is just average growth for a person your age.
Most people do not continue to grow after late teens... but if your dad grew into his 20s, you might do the same.
