What does it mean if?

Question:
What does it mean if you have a sharp pain right where your ribs are, on your right side?

Answers:
It is probably a pulled muscle, if it continues to hurt for too long, you should see a doctor to make sure that it is not serious!!
You might have just pulled something. If the pain continues you should probably see a doctor, there's a rare chance of a disease of the pleura.
It could be a pulled muscle or at the worst pleuracy on pneumonia. Get checked at the Dr. to be on the safe side.
Then again it could just be as simple as indigestion or heartburn.(acid reflux)
One of my ribs used to get stuck behind another rib. It really hurt, but would pop back out eventually. Your liver is also on the right side under the ribs.
I have the same problem sometimes and it hurts to breathe. I asked the dr and he told met hat maybe something was getting caught on my ribs. so i try and massage whatever might be stuck off of my ribs. i know it sounds stupid, but man does it hurt when it happens
