Victim of drink spiking?
Question:
I was gang raped as a result of drink spiking ...and its not only ruined my life but also my marriage...
anyone gone thru similar experience??

Very sorry to hear about your ordeal, I take it you have reported the matter to the police? You need to do that straight away.
You may also need outside help, like counselling & all the support you can get from your family.
It happened to me at a works do about a month ago, the spiker’s was a female colleague whom I saw put something in my drink whilst here friend argued with me, at the time I thought nothing of as I trusted them Now I’m male, didn’t drink a lot that evening, although I can & still stand. Yet very quickly I became drowsy, and started to hallucinate until I passed out, well I think I passed out cant remember anything. Don’t even know how I got home. Yet I was told I did things I cant remember doing. In fact I have no memory of about three hours activity. I woke up confused and dazed, felt sick and drowsy, these symptoms continued for about 12 hours. A month on I still have nightmares, & flashbacks. I’m very jumpy always on edge and can trust no one. You on the other hand I wish all the best for the future.

I haven't experienced this, however, my suggestion is would counselling help?
I am sorry that this happened to you. It happened to me once only my brother noticed I was not right so he put me in my bedroom and locked me in. He then moved the couch in front of my bedroom door and stayed there the rest of the night. My helpful advice is only drink and surround yourself with people who love and respect you. Oh and the classic "Drink Responsibly" it really sucks what you are going to go through so to avoid it next time if you didn't mix the drink you shouldn't drink it.
What a horrific experience that must have been . No words can compensate for that . Please be strong and be very careful from now on with whom you socialize . You can prevent this and loads of other bad situations by being watchful and not trusting every one you find charming . There is not much we can do not being closer to the problem and you yourself have to be actively involved in your recovery . If you know who did this to you maybe the law can help you get justice . I know, it's easy for strangers to guess and say do this or that .

yeah i had my drink spiked by one of my old friends that i hadnt seen in about 3 or 4 months.
i went out, and had about 2 or 3 drinks by myself at the club while i played some pokies. at that time i had a pre-mixed bottle that i kept the top on at all times (cause im usually careful about that).
then i ran into some old friends and they were all on pills and invited me to go dancing with them, so i said sure why not, went with them, and they kept trying to buy me a drink, and i said no, then they came back with 3 bottles of water about a half hour later, they gave me one, i had a few sips out of it and it got knocked out of my hand... then one of the guys got straight down on his knees on the dancefloor and tried to find that bottle that i'd dropped, i knew something was wrong.
about 30 minutes later i started feeling a bit strange so i left the club and started walking home ( i lived about 30 metres away from the club)
i started to go really really really fast, and so i went into my work for some support and advice on how i was feeling, and one of the guys could tell straight away i'd had my drink spiked, so he took me home, put my mobile in my hand with his number dialled into it in case of an emergency, helped me get into bed and made sure i had nothing constricting on.
for the next 12 hours i literally could not move a single muscle in my body except for my eyes. then when i got up i couldnt walk, when i tried to get some water.
i told the cops and they said it was most likely horse tranquilser, because apparently ppl who take a LOT of pills on a night out will take a downer with them so that they can slow themselves down.
the weird thing is that they didnt even try and rape me or anything, they were just trying to force me into having fun with them without my knowledge.
it was so scary
