I was currently in the hospital due to congested heart failure and my urine has a darker color and smells bad?

Question:
What could be the problem?

Answers:
Very often, patients with heart problems will also experience kidney problems. If you were diagnosed with CHF, then chances are that your kidney functions have been checked. You should contact your physician to let him/her know what your urinary symptoms are. If, by chance, they haven't checked your kidney functions (this can be done with simple blood testing), then they'll want to do that. Either way, contact your physician and let him/her know what's going on.
if you are taking medication, that might be it. if you are VERY concerned, then i would call the doctor.
it is just the meds in your system . it will change again when your body accepts the meds.
You need to make sure you get plenty of water in your diet.. and also the medicine your taking could be the problem...but make sure your getting a lot of water!!
