Constantly tired and fatigued?
Question:
I tried sleep meds, but all they do is keep me asleep for a couple hours, then I'm up and wide awake. Tried anti-depressants, but they have no effect on me whatsoever no matter which kind I try. Please help!

This sounds like a metabolism problem. Since it is summer, you need to stay cool and avoid oily, greasy foods. I don't know your diet, but I used to have the same problems and then I switched up my diet to drinking PLENTY of water, and eating plenty of vegetables. As for sleeping avoid taking anymore pills. Take a cool shower at night and try Cozy Chamomile tea. This also sounds like you have stress. If that's the case, don't worry so much
stress and diet
keep urself on the go all the time
I have the exact same problem. If and when you find out can you let me know?
Ask your doctor about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
sounds like me but I do have hypothyroidism.
Keep seeing your doctor about it. Get a second opinion if you can. That is not normal and is probably a symptom of something else. Don't give up
Yeah I got the same problem man I think I'll go on sick call sometime this week and let you know I got the exact same symptoms.
I know someone who got Lyme's disease and had symptoms like these. Your fatigue is probably linked to your inability to get good sleep. Get checked for anemia. Check out this link it may help http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/...
you might try to stay away from caffeine and sweets after a certain time, try sleeping in a different bed or a recliner. Also try eating more salads,I know it sounds simple but a salad can make you feel a whole lot better. You might want to cut the time on the internet also if you spend alot of time on it, it is very addictive to the mind.
Thats interesting. It DOES seem that you have a thyroid condition. (I know all about thyroids since I have had hypo thyroid condition)
There are so many reasons a thyroid would be sluggish.
Most of the time it is all interconnected with the entire body and you just have to change to an over all healthy lifestyle.
The liver can be taxed and then dump some of it's duties on the thyroid.
Sometimes people of meditarranean descent or Asian, have a rare malfunction of not being able to produce enough blood cells. Half the cells they produce are faulty and die . quickly. These dead blood cells build up as gunk in the other organs. (You become plugged and stuffy also).
The liver can get taxed from that and then it can dump on the thyroid.
I could write a book of all that I know...I don't want to make my answer too long.
But listen, a healthy lifestyle is really important. The ocean and the SUN are very stimulating to the thyroid. The UV rays are actually beneficial in moderate amounts. The UV rays go into your eyes and stimulate the pituatary and pineal glands in the middle of your brain, (which also control the thyroid)
ANOTHER kind of gross thing that can make you sick, is PARASITES. They can even infest vegetarians so don't be fooled. If you have a cat, dog, bird, pet, you are exposed and highly likely to have them. If you have traveled to countries like India, Mexico, and even parts of America. You are exposed. Parasites are in microscopic size and stay in the ground often traveling through your bare feet into your blood stream.
Parasite infestation symptoms include.
gas
very smelly gas
head aches
irritability
sluggishness
itching, (especially anal)
constipation
diareah
etc etc
(you can google up symptoms of parasites)
Diatomaceous earth is a HEAVEN SENT for people who fear parasites and want to protect themselves.
(Its also heaven sent for people who want to grow thick hair and strong nails and tooth enamel because it is mostly consisting of SILICA)
(it is also heaven sent for people who want to cleanse from heavy metals, pesticides, toxins, and drugs)
KEEP doing RESEARCH and you will find so much information. You can write me any time too.
