You can't really get addicted to pot. Its more of a total choice, the rest of that stuff is bad bad bad. Help him, or get someone to help him. And if he won't then get the hell away from his as fast as you can before he brings you down to.
Of course its addiction. Cocaine is natural and is one of the hardest drugs to kick. Stay away from him.

First of all, Pot is the least of your worries, Pot is not really addictive, but crack, is where the bad news is. If I were you I suggest to him that he get help, and if he doesn't want to then there is not anything to do, just let it go and move on, because friends like that are not worth it.
