Grab the nearest magazine or newspaper, read a bit for say 25 mins, have a warm mug of milk with honey in it, it will send ya into that other land believe me..
try taking a nice long hot shower...just stay calm for an hour before u go to bed thats what i do and when that doesnt work then i turn to Tylenol pm...sweet dreams!!
Tylenol PM or Benadryl make sure the room is nice and dark try a fan or something for backround noise that sometimes helps
I think taking a long hot bath just might do the trick in this situation, or even a warm one could soothe you, and also when you close your eyes to go to sleep think of something that puts your mind at ease like looking at the ocean
close your eyes don't open no matter what
