Im 17 and i had my tonsils removed in april (3 months ago) and im still having problems?

Question:
i had my tonsils out 3mths ago and they were really bad.
my face swelled up in feb and i had huge swollen glands.. i had blood tests and ct scans all came back fine.. and they came to the conclusion it was because of my throat. i was checked for mono and strep and it wasnt that.. i was put on high dosages of prednizone and antibiotics and april 2nd i finally had my tonsils removed. i had some bleeding but got it to stop. once it was bad but i got it to stop. other then that i healed pretty good or so i thought. my throat is still nasty and i have this lump on my left side. my left side was always the side that bothered me the most. my glands are still swollen 3 months later and ive been on and off of antibiotics and nothing seems to be working. i have throbbing pains on the left side of my neck still and it sometimes makes my ear ache. my ent said that they would probably have to do a biopsy but he put me on MORe antibiotics instead. idk wat to do. should i go for a biopsy? or not..

Answers:
Yes if your ent recommends u to have a biopsy done and they are trying to find why are u still having problems? Hope u feel better and goo luck.
Sometimes you have more problems if you are older. Mine kept bleeding - I was about 24.

Be patient and listen to the doc.
Talk to you doctor and compare the risks to the advantages of the biopsy, then make your decision (your parents/guardians will). If your not satisfied with your doctors, go see another one and get a second opinion.
