Sleep problems!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Question:
i wake up at 7am, work all day (i live on a farm), but i cant sleep until 3am or sometimes i dont get any sleep. and even then i'm up until 1am. why cant i sleep? it is really hard with school too b/c i have to wake up at 6am.

Answers:
i'll start out by telling you i know how it feels because i have also had this problem in the past. ok now the reason you cant sleep is because after working all day your body has built up so much lactic acid that all ur muscles and your brain is wide awake and just like most things it needs time to cool down after large physical/mental exercions another reason for u not being able to sleep even after staying awake the night befor could posibly be because u are at a point where your body is overtired which is also a simular conclusion to my last point.

how i got over my insomnia as it is called was meditation to relax my muscles and my mind (aka yoga or even taking a warm bath with incense(highly recomended)) another thing i found helped alot was warm milk and honey or herbal tea and trying to slow down a bit durring the day although in your case that wouldn't be possible while working on a farm

if none of these methods help i would go see your doctor explain to them what is happening and tell them what you've done to try and help they should be able to help you a bit further then i can and if absolutly nessesary they will prescibe a sleeping tablet or something to help you sleep

i hope this helped you in some way i say again i know how it feels and it really sux when no matter how hard u try u just cant sleep

sorry about the length :(

P.S. oh also if posible put a load of towles or blankets in the dryer and then take them out when u want to sleep just something i learnt off a movie i watched cant remember which movie but its worth a try if it is possible i didnt try that because i wasnt able to so i dont know how well it works
try herbal tea, if that doesnt work try meditation. I wouldn't recomend drugs tho only a last resort.
Maybe your stressed about something or thinking too much.

I usually have trouble sleeping when I'm swamped with work or problems. What I do is, I go somewhere where I can completely clear my mind and find my peace. After that, I go home and sleep for hours.

Try to search for your inner dilemma... and try your very best to find a solution to it. Once your done. You and your bed will be best friends for a long time!
Your body is alert for a reason. Its possibly because of eating and/or drinking habits. You are quite possibly taking in too much sugar or are food intolerant.
Try cutting out all sugar, coffee, cut back tea to 2 per day (none at night), stop all soft drinks (try plain mineral water) cut out all wines and preferably other alcohol. (I don't know your age). Change to wholemeal bread (NOT wholegrain), keep away from anything made with white flour. Check everything bought at the supermarket for sugar content -even fish and soup, spaghetti sauce etc has added sugar (anything over 6 g per 100g is too high).
Don't eat lollies or other sweets, keep the fruit intake low (except for strawberries or peaches) as fruit is usually high in sugar.
If you live on a farm you may be food intolerant to dairy products - but try cutting out the above first (we can't do it all at once!) and then if you still have a problem - cut out milk and cheese.
After 3 or 4 days of cutting out the trial above, you should see a huge difference. You can then add back small quantities of some of the above, but be careful.
You can expect to get bad headaches and maybe even feel sick in the first couple of days as you go through withdrawal symptoms of the coffee, food and drink - but stick with it!
I wish you well.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress,
dietary and medical problems. By making
small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly,
insomnia can be cured. I found the information
at http://www.nosleep.in/insomniacause.html...
“everybody was suggesting tempsoma for a memory foam mattress, because I was planning to buy for my grandparents…I was always sad when they complain about back pain and they are always uncomfortable sleeping I think brought by old age…so I got a tempsoma memory foam mattress from the mall…price a little expensive but after several days of me visiting my grandparents it was more than worth the money I spent…they were so happy about the experience they have on the tempsoma memory foam mattress…not only it is comfortable to sleep on but they can sleep on any position and not worry bout numbing and stiffness…and guess what the pain in their back slowly disappeared in a one month period…”
