I dont think the generic works. Will a pharmacy take it back?
Question:
Will a pharmacy in the US take back the unused generic Rx so i can have the brand name again?
Answers:
You should definitely talk to the pharmacist. They probably won't take it back but maybe they can replace it . The main reason to talk to them is so that they can complain to the manufacturer. Or you can contact the manufacturer directly to complain to them.
I work at a generic pharmaceutical company, and they take customer complaints seriously. They will extensively test the product to try to find any defects. I can tell you that one big difference with generic drugs is the time-release qualities, and generic drugs won't release exactly the same as the brand.
I don't think so, its just too risky. You can call wherever you got it from and find out though.
No. I worked at a chain pharmacy a few years ago and it is illegal for them to take it back because they don't know if someone has tampered with it or not. You can talk to the pharmacist about any concerns you have, and they may give you name brand for free this time. Next time you think about switching brands or something, ask for a sample first. They will generally give you a few days worth.
Tough one. I really do not think so. Sorry to say. You need to contact your doctor and he will need to write another script for the real stuff. I would give it a try first before doing the doc thing. Good Luck!
depends on what you are taking but anyway go back to the chemist and let them know it isnt working or call the med company and let them know you do not have to suffer with a medication that does not work there might be something wrong with it have it tested or get the chemist to test and and give you the results if they say no let them know you will take it further and report it
idk. u could go to ur local drug store to find out. or just keep it and tell em ur story. lol.
