Why do people get chills when embarrassed?
Question:
A friend of mine showed me this movie "Greece" i guess it's a classical, so when i watched it. I couldn't help but feel chills constantly, i asked her and she told me she felt the same. Thing is that it's happened before when i feel terribly embarassed for someone or myself sometimes.
Have you ever? if so why do people feel chills when this happends?
Answers:
It's an autonomic function of your body. Kind of like when you get a rapid heart rate or increased blood pressure when you are an intense situation. Your body responds in different ways to different stresses. Chills can be caused for a number of reasons. I'll have to say that watching "Grease" never did it for me. But I guess I'm just getting old.
Huh? I sweat like crazy when embarrassed! I suppose people all react differently. It's your body's reaction to stress.
its a biological reaction. Just like blushing.
however, my grandmother used to say "someone just walked over my grave"...when she got that reaction.
creepy ha?
good luck :)
