Question about Zoloft. Has anybody tried it?

Question:
I am wondering if anybody out there takes Zoloft? If so, what are the good and bad of it. You see, I use to take Zoloft myself but got off of it because I find it hard to feel, such as emotions and love. My mind is like a fog and taking Zoloft seems to kill all of my motivation. It's like when on Zoloft, I don't care...about anything.

Answers:
My experience is sorta different. I currently take it and have been for 6 months now.

The good things:
-Significantly Reduced Anger/Grudge problem.
-Significantly Reduced Social Anxiety/Phobia/Etc.
-Significantly Reduced Depression.
-Increased Aspirations (less feelings of severe boredom)

The So-So things:
-Increased time to reach orgasm/ejaculation. This is both good and bad. It's good for intercourse with a woman because she'll have a much better chance of reaching an orgasm. It can be bad for the guy (myself) sometimes if I want to rub one off in the shower. Also, 2nd round sex/masturbation takes even longer.
-Feels like time flies by much faster. Can be good sometimes, bad others.

The bad things:
-Withdrawal if you miss a dose. Makes me feel disoriented from time to time...especially in public though. Pretty much any medication like this has em though and it's something you can prevent.

Comments: I've always had the daze feeling in public from time to time, so Zoloft has not modified that at all. I guess I've always focused on my tasks so hard that I don't let many things interrupt me. Also, Zoloft hasn't caused me to become a super-outgoing conversation guru by any chance, but it has made it much easier to fall into current ones going around or starting small talk. I suppose I feel more laid back when it comes to social situations. Talk or Not, it's all good. If it's urgent, there's no fear of getting the word out though.

Zoloft (Sertraline HCI)- It's usually prescribed for PTSD, Post traumatic stress disorder brought on by a sexual assault, natural disaster or somebody in the family that's just died or friend. For a good test to see if you need it or don't need it go to: Zoloft.com and it provide's a test of symtoms. You shouldn't take it if you don't need it and you definitely don't need to take it if it's someone else's prescription. Consult your doctor first above all.
