Answers:
Young man, it is not possible to run away from your problems. As your problems will follow you where ever you go.

What ever the "secret", it you both share, believe me no "secret", is worth keeping between the two of you if one has depression.

You say that you don't want to talk to your parents or an "adult", again relating back to this big secret.

Depression left untreated can lead to other serious personality disorders and then your friend may find himself with, "Serious Mental Illnes".

Sometimes the truth hurts, but time will heal that problem. Right now it is in your friends best interest that he speak to his parents about this "secret", that has him depressed and have them take him to see a clinical psychologist, or clinical psychiatrist.

Start with the clinical psychologist as they don't have the authority to write an Rx., for drugs. Drugs on not really needed if all you have is depression. As a good therapist can talk with you and get to the root cause of the problem. And give you alternative solutions to resolve the problem.

Clinical Psychiatrist are much to quick to hear the word, "depression", and pull out their, Rx., pad and write you a prescription for drugs. Something that is not good because it will only mask the root cause of your problem. Plus they will get rich off you, being that you will have to always return for another Rx., as the drugs are addictive.

My professional advise to you is to let the secret out of the bag and get some help. No secret can be that bad if it is going to cause you depression.

Clinical Psychiatrist, France

Excuse my english/.
the answer is easy.!.....he thinks his life is so bad....then....let him run away......alone....and he will get a great wakeup call to waht life is really like........and soon will appreciate all that he has. if not..then running away was what was meant to be.
