How do you shake a real blue mood?

Question:
The last couple of weeks I've been in a real blue mood, nothing in particular brought it on, nothing makes it better. At first I thought it would pass but it hangs on like a fog that won't go away, Any suggestions to shake it?

Answers:
If you have lived in Walla Walla YOU KNOW FOG.and Probably what freezing Fog looks like . and maybe you even know how to play an song or two of the BLUES!
sheez.let me tell you, i can play the blues..! i've had them myself.
what i do.is:
look around.
find SOMETHING:)!
you can be Thankful for (however simple it may be:)
and the you will experience a moment of Happiness:)
and then:)!
keep looking..!! and find something else you can be thankful for!
and you WILLL experience Another moment of Happiness:)!!
KEEP looking! and find another, and another and another!!

Every time i do this I find the LIST OF THINGS
TO be thankful for :) is ENDLESSSSS!

for example:)
iam thankful for the fact i got to see a bird today----an ospey---which is really cool in my opinion:)
sometimes life seems to suck.(i could think that about mine right now.hmmmph.oh well.)
however:)
iam thankful for the chair iam sitting on right now.
and i have a roof over my head.
and my mom and dad love me.even if iam.
:)etc.
do you see what i mean?
look around---and be THANKFUL:!!:)

Other Answers:
Get in the shower, get dressed, and get out of the house.

Do something that you like to do or go out to the movies and watch a comedy. My dear, get out and go walking in a park in the morning before work and then when your world is over go to a gym and go do some exercizing.. just untill the chemicals in your mind start releasing the happyness back..

that is all it takes.. you need oxigian in your brain an then you will be happy again

Maybe you are in a blue room? The blues tend to hang in some places and dark places would tend to aggravate this. Brighten up your place, bring sunlight in, throw away clutter and make sure there is ventilation. Also, light up some incense, like sandal wood or probably lavander as this helps chase away the blues. Play some lively music, maybe the marching tunes, not the blues and really depressing ones.

You did not tell your age nor any history in your family for depression.

Eat some chocolates or comfort food as these would lift up the "spirits" or those high in vitamin B (esp B12) as these regulate the nervous system and deficiency could lead to some sort of mental problems.

Do some meditation or yoga and just go out and take a walk, or go out with lively friends, not those who'd put you down and aggravate your situation.

I bet you haven't tried this:

These essential oils Lavender, bergamot, marjoram, sandalwood, lemon and chamomile, ylang ylang.

What to do with some of them: Combine 10 drops lavender, 4 drops sandalwood, 4 drops bergamot, 4 drops chamomile, 4 drops ylang ylang, in 4 ounces vegtable oil use it as a body lotion or but 1 or 2 teaspoons in a bath.

herbal remedies: Kava and Valerian

let me know when you find a fix.

Get laid. Only if you have good, willing inlet, though. GRAB IT BY THE COLLAR..AND SHAKE FOR ALL YOU ARE WORTH!!
