Why are people so curious and why are others so paranoid.

Me personally, I am more of a watcher than a paranoid.

i am a pretty paranoid person, so yes i do feel like i'm being watched. some people watch others because they want to know if there life is more interesting than theres perhaps. other people are paranoid because they feel insecure about themselves.

cops watch me wen i go out side, in side my family is like a freaking radar..and the rest of my time i spy on other people .do i get a beer ? if we have nothing to hide why should we worry? OOPS somebody is reading this note right now ...

i usually feel like im being watched by neighbors ( they are very inqusitive), and usually by somone i've just met! somehow they can never keep their eyes off me, its soo flipp'n not comfortable, u r like OK, can u like stop staring now?! i am not paranoid! its just the simple truth!

I think that we are all being watched to some extent. It's only natural and normal. People are naturally interested in what the other person is doing. It's only when they are watching you with intent to harm you to hurt you in some way that it becomes dangerous. But a a natural curiosity is no threat.
Now with the internet, it is easlier for someone to know all about you, which is some ways is more frighting - it's like "Big Brother"being out there.

My dad has always been somewhat obsessed with having the blinds closed at night, especially when he is watching television in the living room ( does he feel guilty?). Also when my mom was breast feeding he would always get angry with her for not shutting the blinds, as if he thought the neighbors were just standing around waiting for a chance to leer at her through the window as she fed her child.
