Serotonin Syndrome?

Question:
Can a person be put back on a different SSRI after they have had serotonin syndrome with another SSRI?

Answers:
Yes, but with careful med management. There are newer classes of meds now including SNRI (Selective norepherine Re-uptake Inhibitors ) that are better focused of difference receptors. That may be one option (Cymbalta is one) or Atypical Antidepressants that do not focus on serotonin but are as (or more effective) One is Remeron.
never heard of serotonin syndrome so you should talk to your doctor. dosent sound like you should
