Willpower...how have you fought your mental, physical and emotional urgings to develop self mastery?
Question:
I am doing a self-mastery challenge right now, and am interested in those who have challenged themselves in order to develop a strong will
Answers:
a strong will is nothing more than desire and the ability to concentrate, convince your self you want something and you will go all out to get it, concentration his the hard part with all todays rights and wrongs and other mental distractions concentration is real hard, ex. try to sit and concentrate an a wall for ten minutes moreless an half hour.
Hi,
As a christian I try my best to follow the techings of Jesus found in the scriptures which essentially teach to resist, and conquer lust, quarrels, lying, cheating, stealing masturbation etc., all things which I would do to a greater or lesser degree from time to time before my conversion and faith in God. I've come a long way toward self mastery and strong will power (and believe me I'm 20-35 pounds over-weight) and the battle/journey is for a life-time.
Good luck.
