Recently i've been depressed, should i just lock myself in a room all day?

Nope, more than anything you need fresh air, exercise, and SUNSHINE! For one week I absolutely insist you get your butt outside for a walk in the fresh air for at least an hour per day. Walk as briskly as you can. If after one week - 7 days - you do not feel better, I want you to see a doctor!

Do you think that would make you feel better? If so, go ahead. Give yourself one day. If that doesn't make you feel better, than perhaps you need something else. Try going jogging, or brisk walking. When you exercise it releases endorphins into your body which makes you feel better. If that doesn't work, perhaps you should talk to a Dr.
No. Thats worse in someone in your situation. I dont think ive gone through what youre going through but talking to people and laughing a little would help. Being alone will just make it worse.
Depression is a very serious illness that generally is hereditary. There are good therapists out there that can help and maybe some anti-depressants to help level out the imbalance in your brain.

Not at all..spend ur time outside as much as possible..try to divert urself in any kind of activities that interest u..If u are working, that is the best way to get out of depression..please dont confine urself between four walls..talk to ur best friend about ur sadness..he or she may give u helping advice..talk to ur parents..ur mom specially..be smiling always..god bless..
Why are you depressed?Getting out and getting involved with some kind of activity always makes you feel better.If you still feel this way ,then go to the doctor,you might need some kind of pill.There could be some kind of chemical imbalance that can be fixed and make you feel better.
No. You need to lay off the sugar. Eat more protein and vegetables. Get some sun. And exercise. Taking some omega3s and some 5HTP will do wonders.
It depends, sometimes you need to spend some time on your own, rent some movies, read a book, go for a walk ect.but you need to snap out of it after a day or two and go out. You can't wallow for too long, but everyone can have a day or two every now and then. If it is an on going problem that lasts longer, you may want to speak to your doctor.Everyone gets the blues now and then, and it can have many different causes, it could be hormones, the weather, passing of a loved one, boredom, problems with love life, or problems with family members, work related, or problems with friends.
