get a job. find a job

I get scared of being alone too, but you have to reach out to people and learn to trust, I finally realized that there is more love in this world if I just opened my eyes and saw it, family is alot but it is not everything.

There is probably state assistance available. There are also churches that can help. Also, have you ever thought of getting a room mate?
Try to remember, our problems always seem worse, until they get resolved!

dont be afraid just stop and think there are so many things that you can do with your life its not the end of the world if you stop getting money. WHOA! This seems like another case of the "I need to get a job!" Seriously, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but does it have to take all this for reality to kick in? You need to get some sort of job. You can live off of money given to you if you were a Hilton, or some other celebrity or super rich person, but obviously you aren't. You need to become more independent and get up, and find some sort of income that you can say that you've recieved other than from someone else. You don't want to feel the pain of such thoughts, but I believe that you need this sort of push. GET A JOB! GET A JOB! GET A JOB! GET A JOB!
FILE NOW! FILE NOW! STOP TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF ALL BECAUSE YOU'RE ABOUT TO RUN OUT OF MONEY! MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING, BUT YOU DO HAVE A SON!

Renee, it is time to get some help. Why are you unable to work? Getting a job will raise your self-esteem. If you are truly disabled, then the social service agencies in your county should be able to point you in the right direction to qualify for public assistance. Stop screwing around with self medicating, and get some help. This question was listed under mental health. Do you have a diagnosed mental illness or some reason to expect you can get disability?

Several people have quite simply stated- get a job. Of course, it's not always that easy.

If you have a mental illness and have reason to expect you can get disability- remember it can take years even under the best of circumstances. Get a lawyer as soon as you can- they take a percentage so you don't need $ up front. And NAMI.org has a forum for most if not all mental illness diagnosis and for homeless. I'm on the bipolar forum and the homeless forum. You can reach me there.

Remember that the panic will do you in if you let it. Pull your head together and do what you need to do. Remember the serenity prayer. Let go of what you have no control over and take control and do something about what you can. Worry just takes energy that could be put to better use doing something constructive. And worry blocks the thinking process. You've got to let go of the worry and the panic- you can and you will. You have no real choice.

Renee there is alot of good advice on here already. But my sister found her soul-mate on www.singleparents.com.Also there are plenty of good people in your neighborhood, such as church people etc.Ask for their help and you will be surprised.God Loves You!!and has a purpose for you ASK and YOU will RECEIVE!! scam

Is there any particular reason you cannot work? It may help you out a great deal. Also if your son isn't paying anything to live there I would have him get a job and start contributing and that might help with your financial situation.

It took my mother in law 2 years to collect her disability. She fought it in court and finally got a grand total of $80,000 in back pay and now she's getting a monthly check as well. She had to buy a trailer and had her son fix it up. She did have family to help though. People keep telling you to get a job but I'm sure you have a good reason as to why you can't work. Do you have friends? And going to a church will help too. There are alot of compassionate people in places like that who are happy to be your friend and to help with what they can.

I'm there 4 u .
