Flying is safe. Thank the security personnel who do a tough, difficult job to keep flying safe for all of us. That is what I do.

Security is much tighter since the terror attacks. You should expect it to take more time to get through security, etc, but at least that's a good thing! Well if you look "High" they will check u. Wear flip flops or sandles this way you won't have to take your shoes off. wear light cloths.nothing bulky and have your passport or ID ready at all times.that will make things easier. Its not bad..u may want to take a pill after u go through the check in.

Airplane travel is far better than it has been for several years. You have to take off your shoes and jacket and put them and briefcases, etc. in a plastic tub and they go through an xray scanner. I suggest you wear sweatsuit as nothing on it beeps with metal. No long lines now so don't worry about this at all. Check in 2 hours early to make sure you can deal with anything that might come up. It's nuts now, but as long as you behave like a good little slave and mind your P's and Q's, they won't haul you off for any interrogation. Well yes, and then again security had no wear to go but to get better and tighter. But it seems to me there are many other ways to get things aboard aircraft other than passengers.

I would be more concerned that you are taking triple the recommended max daily dose of xanax. If you need to be concerned, be concerned about your med levels, because no MD is prescribing that kind of dosage for you. it is addictive over long periods of time and you should gradually reduce dosage to less than 4mg if it is indeed required. It can also put you down via overdose so please talk to your doctor.
