Do you listen to your "Inner Voice"?...
Question:
Answers:
The older I get (I'm getting there--the antique mall could price and shelve me), the more I realize we often know exactly what we should do if we would only stop and listen in silence to our inner voice. That stopping means stopping and silence means silence. One can't hear that little bit of intuition when charging full tilt at life. I think that is why meditation and prayer times have become so critical in many people's lives.
It is ironic that we will solicit a dozen friends' opinions and we don't honor ourselves long enough to listen to all those lessons we've learned through the years. That is unbuyable wealth that we ignore when we don't listen to that inner voice or spirit.
Trust your gut. It doesn't want to harm its host so it will help you choose what is right for you in a particular situation. Be sure to listen honestly without hidden agendas, and you will find yourself living a life that is true to you.
