normal is overrated... its vanilla... its boring, at least IMHO... I view my mental mechanics as a blessing because I see life through a different "pain"... folks who have never had to struggle take things... often important things... for granted... those of us who have to struggle to get through the day think of success differently - in a purer, more wholesome way, IMHO... I have struggled to "fit in" all my life... when I was not successful with that, I sought to be invisible... now that I have mastered myself and my quirks (for the most part) I find myself stronger than most of the "normal" people around me who can't be flexible with the wind so they break and don't have the smarts to duck when the excrement hits the old oscillating unit... these days, if I weren't me, I'd want to be my best friend :) work with your strengths, figure out what keeps your interest and work to stay busy... finds words to guide you, to live by... one of my favorites is "you are the destination of your beautiful road"
Yeah I suppose I am a little bit - I wonder what it'd be like to be 'normal' and not to feel so down and everything.
