I am seen as bright but bad in attention, memory, transpose/misre. # like 138 to 183. some form of dyslexia?

Question:

Answers:
That's definitely dyslexia. About 10 percent of people have it, in different degrees, so you're not alone. Many dyslexics have high IQ's and are quite bright and/or talented.

Unfortunately, there aren't any medications that cure it, but you can do various brain training exercises to help improve your thinking ability. Check the Internet, or maybe your school will have some information or even classes. Lots of people just live with it, and if its not too extreme, they do just fine.

Good luck!

Other Answers:
I've always been the same way with numbers, though very very good verbally. I don't know if it's a form of dyslexia, but always thought it must be.

That is a distinct possibility, and you should be tested for it. Yep, its dyslexia alright and don't let them tell you it's not. I suspected for years that I am dyslexic but my school were having none of it. Went to uni aged 25 and dyslexia was picked up by an aptitude test and confirmed by a specialist. I won't say that it changed my life but it did explain a hell of a lot.
