I can't see things in my mind, is this common? That is a total lack of vision?
Question:
Answers:
It is called lack of imagination. Maybe you will be a scientist.
Some people just deal in facts.
Other Answers:
Hmm, that's strange!
It just means you are not visual - some people a audio some are visual and some are both - don't worry too much about it I'll bet all you do is sit around on your butt and watch tv all day. Am I right? That would cause a lack of creativity and imagination. Read a book.
I,personally don't think it's common.
How long has this been going on?
Were you involved in an accident?
Have / are you on drugs?
Have you been to a doctor?
It just means that the Visual sense is not your strongest sense. I am more tactile. If I go in an art gallery I will walk right past most of the paintings and to the sculptures- where honest to goodness I just have to touch them!
Many people are more auditory.
It's interesting to me that I often find myself attracted to (or away from) scents- they'll trigger a memory from my childhood. Sometimes a really strong feeling will surface- when I encounter a smell. Tea Tree oil, is like a heavenly scent to me as I remember being in the sunshine and fresh air in Florida where chopping down Melaleuca trees was a constant battle. (Gosh, I'd be rich today if we knew they were valuable. We were taught they were weed trees that must be eradicated to save the Everglades.)
It just means you have no visual memory. It's odd but not weird. Some people have great visual and some just can't remember what they just walked past looks like. Some people are visual, some are audio, some are kinestethic-
Different people access differently.
Some will say, "That sounds right.", others will say that feels right.this can help isolate if someone accesses their enviroment through their eyes, or ears, or by touch-
If one who accesses by audio is 'shown' something they may not get it-let them hear it and it connects.
This inability to understand this causes lots of friction with many-like friends or mates.if one uses the 'right' access codes their audience will be aware. There are others like yourself out there, don't worry.
One thing to consider: Sometimes people subconsciously block out their ability to internally "see" things because of a traumatic event that occured earlier in their life. Rather than tune into this part of their psyche, they shut it off. It's not necessarally a permanent condition, but rather a way for the body/mind to protect itself until it is ready to cope with the issue.
The other possibility is that you may have expectations of what you are "supposed" to be seeing. Putting that pressure on yourself might be blocking your ability to allow visions to surface. You might just be trying too hard. Trust yourself. :)
