Nausea first cause by depression but now is taking over my life?

Question:
Hi everyone, I went through clinical depression due to delivering a still born baby. I am learning to deal with my feelings and on some level i am beginning to feel at peace. but.. I have had nausea and loss of appetite as a symptom of my depression and my appetite is comeing back and instead of nausea everyday I can finally go a week or so without any at all but It still bothers me that it is there. If i go a week without it I usually go the next week with it. this has been going on for a year now. My dietician said this is normal due to malnourishment but no one understands why I still have it with my eating back on track and everything. Has this happened to anyone before? if so how did you get rid of it? or do you no what it could be? I do have an eating disorder, and i see a psychologist for my depression.I feel that my nausea is consuming my life. It is just everything has to be planned around how I think I am going to feel. any ideas??

Answers:
Sorry this has happened to you. You are not alone, and you will find peace somewhere someday, but that never changes that you had to go through this. My advice: Get a second opinion on the cause of the nausea - seek out a specialist for gastro and maybe a second one for ENT (ears can cause it too). You might have something wrong that is fixable with medication or surgery. It is very convenient for all of your symptoms to be explained away by depression, but trust me, your body can be more complicated that that.

I don't know how to feel for you..this must be too exhausting experience from loss of a baby to depression and nausea. i have no experience whatsoever that is related to yours.

I hope you will overcome all these. ask for the support of your love-ones, their presence could help ease your burden..pray and trust in God you will pass these trials in your life.good luck think positive say things will get better get a puppy or kitten may help you feel better
