As an RN, sounds like typical depression. Probably Wellbutrin would help your mood and self esteem. It's an antidepressant. If you are self conscious about your teeth, are you in a position to get them fixed? That will greatly raise your spirits and self esteem. Hope this helps.
First of all, people are judgemental and that's one sad fact of life. The hard part is moving past it. Regarding your teeth-from a health perspective it is best to get them replaced as soon as possible. The opposing teeth (the ones directly above or below the spaces) will eventually become loose and fall out also--I used to work for an orthodontist. Replacing the teeth will also help with your self-esteem. The least expensive option is also the healthiest for your gums--a removeable appliance.
I hope this helps!
Get your teeth fixed, maybe that will help. Check you local area. Most have a school of dentistry that will fix you teeth for very little cost. They end up doing better work because there is an instructor helping them every step of the way.
Whether you get your teeth fixed or not, it's time to snap out of it. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. If you tell yourself that you are nothing soon you will be nothing.
