Gambling problem?
Question:

Someone I know provided a good strategy. If you are going to go to a casino, for example, take only as much money as you are willing to lose. Leave your wallet, credit and bank cards in your vehicle or at home. If your wallet is in your vehicle, park as far away from the building as possible. When you have lost the money you are willing to lose, you have a long walk to your vehicle or to your home before being able to have access to more money.
Along the way, you are likely to realize how silly it would be to spend more money gambling. You are more likely to go home instead. You have a built-in cooling off period.
If this does not work for you - you may have a serious problem requiring professional help.

Gambling is a type of obsessive disorder or addiction. You will need to go cold turkey or go through a program if you can not discipline yourself to quit.
what i do is not go any where i can act in this activity. i think of something i really need like to floors in my house than i go buy the floors. I am still married so i juess its working. Tell you what, take 5 grand to the casino put it all on one number, if you win, no problem..If you lose you gotta problem.
You must treat a gambling problem the same way you'd treat any other addiction or craving.
