what is the lifetime rate of a person with autism to live?
Question:
Answers:
I have a 12 yo son with autism, his life span is the same as his neurotypical sisters.
Other Answers:
as far as I know they live just as long as anyone else could
If this is your question, I believe with good care they have a normal life span.
Assuming, of course, that there are no other health-related issues, a person with Autism has the same life expectancy as the rest of the population. Autism is not like Down Syndrome where serious complications with the heart (for example) are a common part of the syndrome. In a healthy person, Autism will have little effect on the life-span.
