I was just perscribed adderol (15mg 3x daily) went to the pharmacy got the generics, amphetamine salts.?

Question: I now have not eaten in 3 days, except a lit here and there just so i would something in my stomach. i have not been able to sleep very well, i am wired out of my skull most of the day. and ive lost 9 lbs. but it has made me a much more productive worker. lots of compliments at the job and such. but i cant stand the fealling of being this wired, i feel like i am on a large dose of meth. is this normal. what can i do.

i had a friend that lied to a doc that she had ADD bcuz she wanted some aderol because it is like speed and she was always acting all methed out...maybe you don't need aderol, tell your doc how it makes you feel maybe you were mis-diagnosed.

Adderall is a stimulant. It's speed. You need to talk to your doctor.

adderol or prescribed speed is an appetite suppresser, depnding on the reason why you are taking it there could be other forms of medication. if you can perform normal without it you dont need it, other wise see your dr for an alternative
