Should i seek help?
Question:
Answers:
Yes you should get help before it gets any worse. Councelling will probably do you a lot of good.
Do you have reasons for being sad . or is it a state of sadness not attributable to any cause that is your problem?
You need to talk to your guidance counselor to get advice on how to talk to your parents. If you don't, this will just get worse. I felt the same way when I was 18. I even thought about suicide. It was horrible. I didn't get help until I was in my 20s and it took so long to turn myself around. I wish I had asked for help in high school. And don't think "Oh, I'll be in college soon and everything will be better." No, it won't. It will get worse. You have to get help. Now.
The question is what would make the situation better? Lots of people have family probs. Dont become one of those pill poppers who don't ever face the actual problem. Yes, I believe that there is some depression there but you have to ask yourself what can be done to make it better. Not "should i see a doctor." a psychiatrist might help but dont just blame the word "depression"
get help
Don't blame your parents do something about it, start by going to your counselor at school, your too young to carry such a heavy load. Your Senior year is the best of your life, don't miss it.
